Susan's White Bread

1 1/2 cups hot water
1 cup milk
3 T. butter
2 tsp. salt
3 T. sugar
1/2 cups warm water
1 T. dry yeast
Pinch of sugar
8 cups white flour

Heat hot water, milk, butter and salt until butter is melted and sugar is dissolved.
Dissolve yeast in warm water that has a pinch of sugar added to it.
Add 4 cups flour to liquid mixture and then ad yeast (yeast should be bubbly).
Add 3-4 more cups of flour to make a soft dough.
Knead until silky and smooth, about 10 minutes, adding more flour as necessary.
Let rise until doubled. Punch down. (You can let it rise again)
Form into 2 loaves and place in greased pan.
Let rise to desired height.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
Remove from pans promptly.
